What is a WOF?

A warrant of fitness (WOF) is a regular check that ensures your vehicle meets the required NZ safety standards.

How often do I need a WOF?

Vehicles registered after January 1 2000 need annual WOF inspections for their lifetimes. For new vehicles, after first initial inspection, the next WOF won't be required until the 3rd anniversary since the first inspection.

What happens if my vehicle doesn't pass?

If it is something minor we can usually replace it, this may include, light bulbs and bulbs. If it is something larger we are able to book a full service or the required fixes.
